Free Solo: Free solo climbing (also known as free soloing) is a form of technical ice or rock climbing where the free soloists climb alone without ropes, harnesses or other protective equipment, forcing them to rely entirely on their own individual strength and skill.
We all start out in life as rock climbers. People like friends and family act as our ropes and protective gear, helping ensure our safety and success. The transition to life on our own is a lot like moving from rock climbing to free soloing. The support is still there, but often times from a distance. No one should have to do it alone, and that’s why I created this blog.
