Know What You’re Looking For

This might just be my favorite part of the whole process! It’s where you get to dream a little bit about your new wheels. It’s also the moment when you can put together your “buyer’s wish list”. All of the things you see as most important in a car, as well as the things that you would be willing to sacrifice or compromise on. For example – I live in a place that gets crazy hot in the summers and I definitely see functioning A/C as a complete necessity. However, I’d take a car that has those old-fashioned roll up windows, no problem. That’s something that doesn’t really bother me. So take all those “don’t bother me’s” and “can’t do withouts”, and put them all together.

Hint: the shorter this list is, the better. It gives you more options in the long run.
